 【2025.10.31】 クマのすみか
金山町のクマのすみかから帰ってきました。
現地の柿の木は熊棚があり、実が食べられていました。
また、集落外れの箱罠にも前日大きなクマが掛かったようです。
安全のため、来週の作業は中止しました。
We returned safely from the bear's den. Due to the sound of chainsaws all around us, we didn't encounter any bears during the day. However, it seems that a bear had been climbing the local persimmon tree and eating the fruit up until the day before. It was surprising to see that the tree had been made into a bed of branches similar to a chimpanzee's sleeping quarters. It also seems that a large bear had been caught in a box trap on the outskirts of the village the day before. For safety reasons, we have cancelled work for next week. Thank you to friends who was concerned.

あんぽ柿作り。
なんとか硫黄燻蒸は上手くいきました。
仕上がりが楽しみです。
Making dried fruit. The fruit is picked from the persimmon fields, peeled, and fumigated with sulfur. This keeps the orange color intact and makes sweet, delicious dried persimmons.
