来週のお祭りに備えて、隣人たちと朝から地域の小さな神社の掃除。
Cleaning up the shrine. My neighbors and I started cleaning up the small shrine in our neighborhood at 5:30am in preparation for the festival next week.
【2016.7.4】 畑仕事
4年目にしてプラム豊作。
プラム酒、ジャム、チャツネなど色々楽しめそうです。
It's been four years since I planted the trees, and it looks like I'll be able to harvest a lot of plums. I'll be able to make a variety of processed foods from them, such as jams, liqueurs, and chutneys.
【2016.7.6】 畑仕事
プラム酒仕込みました。
とても美味い酒になるようで、後3瓶仕込みます。
I made plum liqueur. I put 1kg of plums, 300g of icy sugar, and about 0.5 gallons of 35% alcohol in a glass bottle of about 1 gallon, and stored it in a cool, dark place. After 6 months, I'll take out the plums and it will be done. Plum liqueur is said to be the finest fruit liqueur, so I'm really looking forward to it. I plan to make 3 more bottles. We Japanese love making fruit liqueur.
